Located at the DPW, the paper shredding event offers a way to securely recycle your paper documents. Shredded paper is not recyclable through the curbside collection program but can still be recycled through this event. After the paper has been securely shredded into small pieces during the event, 100% of that paper will be recycled.

Shredded paper can also be composted. Paper that is safe for composting is the following: bills, envelopes, junk mail (no glossy paper), memo paper, newspapers, notebook paper, personal letters, printer paper, receipts.
