Free Fix-it Clinic

The Chelmsford Public Library, with participation from the Chelmsford Recycling Committee, hosts Fixit Clinics every two months in the large meeting room at the main location. Fixit Clinics are volunteer-led events where people bring their broken items and learn from one of the handy volunteers how to fix them. Through learning how things work and how we might repair our things, we can reduce the amount that we throw away, and the amount we need to buy again.

Examples of what can be fixed:

• Clothing/ textiles

• Device and computer hardware 

• Jewelry 

• Bicycles

• Household appliances

• Holiday string lights!!
