Junk in the Trunk is a FREE community gifting event. This open-air exchange allows residents to declutter their homes, discover hidden gems, connect with fellow residents, and contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle. There is no fee to attend as a shopper or gifter, simply load your items into the trunk of your car and come to the event to swap! New England Clothes Recycling will be on hand after the event to accept donations of items you don’t give away. 

9:30 am: SETUP. Gifters begin to set out unwanted household items. Please arrive at 9:30. Parking is not available before then.

10:00 am: GIFTING & RECEIVING. Shoppers entrance opens only at 10. Mingle, freely give away goods, and choose items gifted from others.

11:00 am: DONATION. Load items for donation on the New England Clothing Recycling truck. This is not a drop-off event. You must stay with your items until they are loaded. Volunteers will help!

Entrance to the event is on the Harrington School side. The area will be separated by gifters and shoppers.
